SAMPLES

First thing's first:  Samples are being produced by the new factory this week!  It takes a week to make a dummy and then about 5 days to recieve it.  If everything checks out, I will have an updated shipping date!

Hey all,

I made you a pick a pile video that not only shows you where you are headed, but also illustrates a few of the layouts!

New shipping time

As I'm all the way onboarded with the new factory, I asked for the best case scenario for printing and shipping. 

The factory said this:

"It will take 7 days to create a prototype, 5-8 days by air, 15 days for mass production, and 28-35 days by sea."

I will post an update once the new protoype gets printed!

I put together this comprehensive update of the Mercury Oracle.  I encourage you to watch the video and then scroll down for details.

Fun advancements

A new card

• We've been expanding, exploring and drawing in live sessions. To thank you for your continued support I will be including another card with the decks. The cardinal directions:

(It's an experimental card that was based off of a conversation.  I've been learning about treasure hunting and thought it would be fantastic to create a treasure hunting deck in time.  For now, we drew this one together!)

Colorful backs and sides

The Mercury Oracle is meant to grow and change around the 88 cards.  since there is practically alread a companion deck of 59 cards, I was thinking that if we differentiated the card back and sides of the expansions packs that they would:

• be easy to sort
• be easier to rearrange
• look awesome when shuffled

Doing scheduled group reads and lives

• I finally have the space and stability to do readings consistently and will be uploading them every Wednesday or Thursday.

Production

I am writing this in good spirits knowing that everything is back on track. The production of the oracle has been delayed by many months by the shortcomings of the factory that I was working with.  This felt like crushing disappointment, especially as I'd hoped to deliver this late last summer. It was difficult for me to fathom after doing everything in my power to ensure that everything was in order. But I've since found and onboarded with another factory. It takes a significant amount of time to put something like this into production with a new factory.

Your support and faith is in this, my name is on this, my blood sweat and tears are in this, and I have been pouring all of my energy into ensuring this project is perfect. These delays have happened because I will only send out quality work.

These are the issues with the original run:

I have made these concerns known with the new factory and will not be an issue in the future.

All One Or None, Share Joy, and Zoom out 

These are the cards that I pull every single time when I ask what I can do for everyone who has backed this project. 

How I read this:

*Poetically, the combination of all of these cards reads Micro To Macro.  If you notice the central figure in the first card:  There is a community around a central figure enjoying the creations of a single person, in the next card we see them all lining up to work together and spread their joy and ideas and communicate until they have enough gravity to make a whole new universe of possibility.

-SHARE JOY - I have so much joy to share with you!  I've been building a whole world around this deck. Making the Oracle itself has been my biggest joy - I know it is going to bring you much joy. 

-ALL ONE OR NONE - We have to stick together!  You probably think I'm a bit of a loner given the nature of how things have slowly unfolded. (Honestly I'm not a loner, I've just been pouring everything I've got into this!) My intention with creating the Oracle has always been to create something that creates community and I wish I could hug all of you personally!

-ZOOM OUT- I feel much appreciation to everyone who reached out and thanked me for taking my time to ensure these are top quality!   It was such a hard decision not to deliver the cards in the last few months, but I am doing so with the bigger picture in mind!  I can't imagine ever delivering something that is less than absolutely gorgeous to you!  I know that once the deck is out it's going to be explode! 

I believe in us.  I am grateful for every one of you and I have so much joy to share with all of you.  This really is an All One or None situation.

From now until the cards are here, I'm sharing, my creations my readings and what I know, 5 days a week and you are invited.

• I'm going to be going live to read cards, make art, explore and just plain hang out 5 days a week from 1pm - 6 pm pst 
  
  I'll be drawing and pulling cards tonight until at least 7 pm pst.
